Organic and fair trade coffee beans from the La Covencion region (Cusco), Peru! These are whole Arabica coffee beans originally grown in the Amazon rainforest a few kilometers from Macchu Picchu. From a small family farm they harvest green coffee at an altitude of 1800-2000 m.a.s.l. Their agricultural practices help preserve the habitats and ecosystems of migratory birds and other native animals.
Inka Heritage roasts small batch coffee made to order. This means that your coffee will arrive at your door just a few days after your roast date, fresh and full of aroma! As one of the best coffees in Peru, this roast has a medium body with notes of chocolate, panela, green lemon, intense sweet of cane honey.

Coffee arrived in America in 1710, when the Netherlands exported seedlings to its colony in Guiana, from where it went to Colombia. In 1723 it was taken to Brazil by Sergeant Francisco de Mello Palheta, to the state of Pará, and later it spread to other countries.

Our grandparents knew its flavor in the 18th century, when its cultivation began in the Chanchamayo valley, Junín, the main coffee growing area in the central region.

The writer Clemente Palma, son of the traditionist Ricardo, described it as “the devil’s drink”, and the Duke of Talley demanded it: “Black as the devil, hot as hell, pure as an angel and soft as love”.
